2003

The 6th Annual Marcy Party / Third of July Celebration.

Donations are used for Scholarships at ASBA and to further the needs at Hales Franciscan High School.

Additional money is used for books and materials for the study of Africa. A trip to Garfield Park Conservatory for the 6th through eighth grade classes of ASBA to see the Shona Stone carving exhibit was a semester highlight.

A group of after school students receives African Dance lessons from Mr. Joseph Kona and performs at the Christmas Program.
Over 400 hundred children?s books are donated to the foundation for distribution to every student at ASBA.

National Geographic and other classroom materials are donated to the foundation for distribution.

A summer school scholarship is funded at the Gow School for an inner -city student.

2002

The 5th Annual Marcy Party / Third of July Celebration.

2001

The Marcy Miller Foundation sponsors a spring luncheon and historical buss tour to ASBA for a performance of the Muntu Dance Company. The Foundation underwrote the performance.

Foundation underwrites the conference registration for the college counselor from Hales Franciscan High School to attend the Illinois College Counselors Conference.

Marcy Note cards introduced as a donation premium.
